If I Ruled the World – Teleportation Is The Way!

Another brilliant topic from The Daily Prompt:

If I Ruled the World
You’ve been given the superpower to change one law of nature. How do you use it?

Under my rule, people would be able to teleport.

According to Superpower Wiki, Teleportation is the ability to move instantaneously from one location to another without physically occupying the space in between.

If so, we would merely think of a destination and appear there at will. We won’t have to wait for tardy people or rush to our appointment. We can just jump from one second to another. Think of all the time and energy we would save. We can save the land space currently being used for roads and high ways. There’ll be no more traffic jams, car accidents, smoke pollution from cars. There’ll be no more “highway to hell.” Most importantly, we can spend more time with the people we care about or doing things we are interested in. Cool, huh?

We’ve actually seen this in tons of movies – Star Trek, X-men, Transformers, Jumper, even Harry Potter! One day, science will hopefully catch up with our imagination. We may have to know more about quantum physics or bend a few equations but it’s not improbable. You can check out the articles from Time Magazine and How Stuff Works. Or, better yet, I’ll have the superpower to create this. Haha!

There will certainly be a few policies to prevent people from misusing and taking advantage such privileges. But, it’s undeniable, teleportation is the way!

How about you? What law of nature would you change? Check other responses here.
